Before becoming a Keeper, Horace noticed the Laithe in the House of Answers. After he did not bond to it, Mr. Meister used his vest to transfer it to the Warren, where he kept it in his office for some time.
Description[]
The Laithe is a grapefruit-sized globe of the Earth, surrounded by a shimmering haze and rotating slowly. Every aspect of the globe's surface is real; its oceans are filled with actual water, and the vegetation growing on its surface seems to be real microscopic plants. Its surface is covered with swirling, moving clouds.
