Chasing several Keepers
The golem is a powerful Tan'kindi closely related to the sa'halvasa and the mal'gama. It consists of thousands of small, smooth stones which move and flow like a river. It must be controlled by the wearer of a ring called the golm'ruun.
Background[]
Description[]
The golem is composed of many thousands of sliding black rocks which coordinate with one another, moving like a living stone beast. The rocks are almond-sized and identically shaped. Each individual stone is fragile, and can easily be crushed into a gritty powder. Within the golem is a heart, a bloodred, fish-sized stone shaped like a jagged knife. The heart is hot and moves faster than the rest of the golem's stones.
The golem is also incredibly loud, and makes a roaring, grinding noise as it moves which can be mistaken for rushing water.
Properties[]
The golem is immensely strong, and can reduce stone to powder with its lashing coils of rocks.
Trivia[]
- The golem is based on a creature from Jewish folklore, made of mud and animated to serve. Mrs. Hapsteade insinuates that this legend was developed from the existence of Tanu golems, stating: "Legend and fact cross paths."
