The Fall of the House of Answers was a Riven attack on a Warden Tanu repository. While the Vora was briefly imperiled, Chloe was able to recover it; all the Wardens escaped without injury, and the Tanu stored in the warehouse had already been removed at the time of the attack.
Context[]
Mrs. Hapsteade originally did not understand how the Riven were able to find the House of Answers. However, Mr. Meister later realized that Chloe was the likely cause: unprotected by her missing leestone, it was her trail that the Riven followed to the warehouse.
Event[]
Mrs. Hapsteade, Horace, and Chloe were in the House of Answers when they heard the birds near the doorway give warning. Suddenly, a golem burst through the entrance tunnel, flooding into the room. Mrs. Hapsteade ran to the door at the back of the room, crushing a dumindar to protect herself, Horace, and Chloe from the golem's onslaught. Unfortunately, she had left the Vora elsewhere in the room, on its podium near the entrance. She had resolved to leave her own instrument behind, but Chloe insisted on using the dragonfly to venture back into the room and through the golem. Horace checked the Fel'Daera, using a fool's proof to attempt to ensure Chloe's safety through the presence of one of her mints. Chloe used the dragonfly to escape the dumin and move through the golem's body, luring it towards a pillar to slow it down. The golem attacked her relentlessly, even leaving its stones in her flesh, but she returned with the Vora nonetheless.
Reunited with her instrument, Mrs. Hapsteade led Horace and Chloe through the back door of the House of Answers, emerging into a dark tunnel and a weak Nevren. They all made it through- though Horace had significant trouble- and moved on, heading deeper into the sewers, where they met Gabriel. Mrs. Hapsteade left Horace and Chloe with him, instructing him to lead them to safety, and returned deeper into the tunnels, likely to meet up with Mr. Meister. At least two Mordin were also in the tunnels, having found their way there without passing through the Nevren. Mr. Meister likely used his mysterious weapon to attack them, but two escaped and pursued the younger Keepers towards a nearby cloister entrance; Gabriel used his staff to open the sewer's floodgates, washing them away.
