The Confrontation at Marie Park was a brief, non-violent encounter between Chloe, Horace, and Raka in Marie Park.
Context[]
One day before the confrontation actually occurred, on Sunday, May 24, Horace happened to look through the Fel'Daera and notice Chloe entering his toolshed. He got out of bed and tried to follow the next day's Chloe, but wasn't able to chase her through hedges and fences. He cut east to Glendon Street and ran north up the block to Marie Park, trying to head her off, and making plans to follow her the next day as well. There, he witnessed and participated in many of the events of the confrontation.
Event[]
At about 11:30, Sunday's Horace witnessed Monday's Raka chasing Chloe into Marie Park. He didn't see where Chloe went after that, but Raka seemed unable to find her. Horace discovered that Raka could sense his use of the box, and used this to lure him away from Chloe, running through the park and several blocks north on Bromley Street. Eventually Horace stopped, out of breath; Raka threatened him through the box. Hoping Chloe had had a chance to escape, Horace closed the box and returned home.
Chloe entered Horace's toolshed at 11:27 on Monday, May 25 to find him already standing there. He tried to warn her about Raka, but she panicked and ran out of the shed, cutting up the middle of the block. She ultimately reached Marie Street, chased in succession by Raka, Sunday's Horace, and Monday's Horace. The latter hid behind a hedge, watching as Chloe hid inside a tree in Marie Park. Raka was drawn away by Sunday's Horace, allowing Chloe to escape; Monday's Horace followed her eastward.
